Washington DC – Family in Alexandria, VA is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 18-month-old daughter and newborn (arriving in January). The ideal candidate will be nurturing, dependable, and confident, with strong experience caring for both toddlers and infants.
Responsibilities
Childcare Duties:
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for an 18-month-old and a newborn
- Support daily routines (mealtime, naps, bedtime, etc.)
- Plan and initiate engaging activities to encourage learning and exploration
- Encourage language development, motor skills, and early socialization
- Ensure the children’s safety and emotional well-being at all times
Household Support:
- Light tidying in common and play areas
- Children’s laundry and linens
- Meal prep and bottle washing/sterilizing
- Help maintain a calm, organized, and supportive environment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $30–$32/hour (depending on experience)
