Aldie, VA – Special Needs Nanny-must be local or willing to relocate to be local for this job! A loving family with 3 children ( 2 five year old autistic twin boys and an 8 year old girl is looking for a full time nanny.
The family is looking for someone who has special needs experience, can travel internationally and domestically, and do occasional overnnights with notice. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the needs of the children, is extremely patient and kind. The family’s 8 year old recently got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so a person who is knowledgeable and or willing to learn is very important to the family.
The nanny must have a clean driving record and be able to take the boys to therapy, activities and events planned for them. Tend to the needs of the children such as dressing, changing diapers for the boys, brushing teeth and afternoon naps.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, paid through a payroll system, two weeks of PTO, 9 major holidays paid, and end of year work bonus. Health insurance stipend negotiable.
