Alamo, CA 94507 – Bay area family with two children, ages 3 and 1, are seeking a full-time nanny/family assistant.
Duties:
All childcare-related tasks, including school drop-off and pick-up, driving to classes and activities, and engaging in play-based learning.
Meal and snack preparation for the children, simple meal preparation for the family (meal kits), and grocery shopping.
Children’s laundry, changing sheets, folding towels and linens, keeping common areas tidy, toy organization, high chair and car seat maintenance, diaper bag organization, and loading/unloading the dishwasher. The family has a regular housekeeper.
Light pet care, including feeding and letting the dog out as needed.
Assisting with household tasks, such as tidying up and running errands.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm or 8am to 6pm and Friday 7:30/8am to 5pm. Schedule can be somewhat flexible. The ability to travel with the family domestically occasionally is preferred and occasional overnight care is needed when both parents are traveling.
Compensation: $35-$40/hour commensurate with experience + overtime, healthcare stipend, family vehicle to use on the job, paid sick days, holidays, and vacation days
